Parkinson’s Disease: Recommended Foods
RECOMMENDED FOODS
Protein-rich foods: dairy products, meats, fish, eggs and products derived from these foods, according to the recommendations of a balanced diet.
Cereals, potatoes and vegetables: All. The grains can be refined or comprehensive, as personal needs.
Vegetables: All, preferably a daily ration raw (salads).
Fruits: All except those listed in ‘limited food. ”
Beverages: water, broth, defatted, soft infusions and fresh juices.
Fats: Olive oil and seeds (sunflower, corn, soy …), butter and margarine, nuts.
Other products: jam, honey, sauces and side dishes with vegetables.
FOODS ALLOWED (and occasional moderate consumption)
Cereals: Soft Cakes (Swiss roll, sponge fingers).
Drinks: Juices and soft drinks business.
Fats: Mayonnaise, cream.
Other products: Gelatin, commercial and homemade sauce bechamel type.
FOODS LIMITED (by high cholesterol and / or saturated fat)
Meat: The most fat (fatty pork and beef, duck), smoked or cured meats, charcuterie (sausages, foie gras, pates), organ meats, pickled fish, salted, smoked, pickled …
Fruits: Fruits confit and candied.
Beverages: Alcoholic beverages, coffee and other beverages stimulants (guarana extracts, strong tea, etc.).
Fats: butter, lard and tallow, coconut and palm oils (especially in industrial bakery), cocoa butter and products containing it (chocolate, pralines).
Other products: Snacks (hooks, chips, etc..) Products and fast food (hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza) and pastry pastry filled or coated in sugar solutions, chocolates, etc.
